Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Odoo Backend Developer to join our technical team. The role focuses on developing and customizing Odoo modules, implementing business logic, and maintaining high-performance ERP environments for multiple clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom Odoo modules using Python and the Odoo framework
  • Customize existing Odoo applications according to business requirements
  • Design and implement models, business logic, security rules, and automated workflows
  • Build and optimize ORM queries and ensure database performance
  • Develop and maintain API integrations with external systems (REST, SOAP, etc.)
  • Work with Git repositories and follow CI/CD workflows
  • Debug and resolve Odoo server errors and performance issues
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, well-structured code

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Python and the Odoo framework
  • Good understanding of PostgreSQL and database design
  • Experience with Odoo ORM, models, views, security rules, and automated actions
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, REST APIs
  • Experience with Git / GitHub workflows
  • Understanding of Linux environments and Odoo deployment
  • Ability to debug server logs and resolve RPC / ORM errors

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Odoo.sh or CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with multi-company and multi-currency Odoo environments
  • Knowledge of Odoo accounting and business workflows
  • Experience with third-party integrations (payment gateways, e-commerce, APIs)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of Odoo development experience
